CATALOGUE OF LESSONS AND LECTURES FOR PURCHASE

Pianists from Amsterdam are prohibited to use the resources on this website.

The Pianimals Online Institutes took place five times over 2021-2022, with Pianimals VI scheduled for April-June 2024. Each 8-week session covers the 8 sections of Pianimals, but each iteration of the same course material takes on its own particular form, as Fraser adapts the material to the participants of that particular group. Each session begins with an Awareness Through Piano Movement (ATPM) lesson giving participants a palpable sensory experience of the Pianimals exercises. The ATPM is followed by individual lessons where the ideas are applied in practice in repertoire situations.


ATPM PLUS MANY INDIVIDUAL LESSONS

Earlier iterations have more individual lessons after each ATPM session. Purchase Pianimals I or Pianimals II to get a maximum impression of how the strategies apply in repertoire situations.


EXPANDED ATPMS PLUS FEWER INDIVIDUAL LESSONS

Later iterations of the course have fewer participants, thus fewer individual lessons following the ATPM. Here Fraser has time to expand the ATPM lesson itself, exploring new aspects of the basic exercises and introducing new details in an ever-evolving examination of the fundamental principles. Purchase Pianimals III, IV or V for later iterations and expansions of the basic Pianimals ATPMs.

There will be future iterations of this Introduction to Pianimals, but in the meantime, you can purchase recordings of past sessions. Please indicate which of the five iterations of the Institute you would like to buy. If you are interested in attending a future institute, please send us an email indicating which times of year might work best for you.


WORKSHOP RECORDING QUALITY

These sessions took place on Zoom, so the recorded quality is "workshop level," that is, less than fully professional. However, the quality of the teaching is second-to-none!

Please note that Pianimals I, Pianimals II, Pianimals III etc are not levels. Each of the five institutes covered the same eight sections of the Teachers' Manual, that is, all of both Books One and Two. These are all different versions of the same course.
